Or have you been a Christian all your life and you’re looking for a place to grow in discipleship with a close-knit community of believers? Wherever you are right now, we would love to have a chance to get to know you better and walk with you on your journey. 

                    I’m Pastor Vince— the pastor of First United Methodist Church of Fort Meade. We are a group of Christ followers who are trying to grow together in discipleship while we reach out to people in need right here in Fort Meade and around the world. We believe that out of a love that’s beyond anything we can imagine, God came into our human world in the form of Jesus. We believe Jesus offers us relationship with God that will last forever and that gradually transforms us from the inside out. We feel God’s presence continuing with us day by day in the Holy Spirit, offering us guidance, comfort and peace. We’re not very complex or very big, we’re not even particularly wealthy or well-connected—we are just linking arms and spirits in our common goal of living the way Jesus taught. 

               Don’t be tense about what to wear, or how to act— we are really relaxed as we come together to worship God.  We'd just love to have you visit with us this Sunday.
